Our colleagues at Al Jazeera are reporting a demonstration is continuing in front of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home, demanding his removal and early elections.
Earlier, a protest took place in central Tel Aviv to demand the swift conclusion of a deal to release captives in Gaza taken during the October 7 attack.
Hundreds of people also are participating in a demonstration calling for early elections in Haifa, Israel, Israeli news outlet Ynet reported.
The protesters waved Israeli flags and carried signs with the words, “Elections now”, and “Save the kidnapped”, the latter signs referring to captives held by Hamas in Gaza, the outlet said.
Dozens of people also gathered near the Weizmann Institute of Science in the Israeli city of Rehovot to protest against Prime Minister Netanyahu, according to Ynet.
Meanwhile Netanyahu has that We are working on a captive deal, but not at any price.
