Israel PM says cannot accept close to 100,000 evacuees from N. areas

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday a solution needed to be found on Israel’s northern border, where exchanges of fire with the Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon have forced tens of thousands of Israelis from their homes.
He said Israel could not tolerate having close to 100,000 evacuees in its own country and its enemies knew a solution – either diplomatic or military – would have to be found.
