Cori Bush, of the state of Missouri, has that the US “is funding this mass displacement and massacre of Palestinians” in the Gaza Strip, calling for Washington to end its “complicity”.
“We must reclaim our humanity and facilitate a lasting ceasefire now,” she said on X.
Her comments come in response to Israel’s preparation to “evacuate” more than 1 million people from Rafah ahead of a ground invasion.
“Almost half of Gaza’s population has take refuge in Rafah,” Bush said. “There’s nowhere else to go.”
